By Povlja boat you can reach in two ways:
- Line Split - Supetar
- Line Makarska - Sumartin

If coming from the direction of Supetar, on the road to Povlja you will pass: Nerezisca, holidays, Upper Humac Selca and Novo Selo
If arriving by ferry from Makarska, from Sumartin to Povlja takes you 10-odd kilometers and Selca and Novo Selo.
For those who do not come by car there are bus lines to Povlja whose schedule is available on-www.autotrans brac.hr
The summer bus timetable is aligned with the ferry.

Neighborhood

Povlja in the season 2003 was declared the most beautiful little tourist town chosen by the Radio and the Tourist Board of Split Split - Dalmatia County.

  Povlja small town in Dalmatia, at the north side of the island, one of the most beautiful Croatian islands, unspoiled pearl of the Adriatic Sea.
  Povlja on the island have numerous sites, most of which dates from the fifth century. Particular emphasis Povaljska Prague and Povaljska charters. Povaljska threshold is among the oldest and most important epigraphic monuments of our language in Cyrillic, and Povaljska listina the oldest surviving charters written in Croatian language in Cyrillic. We also note the remains of the basilica from the 5th century, which is pretty good condition, and oktagonalnu baptistery, the only preserved in Croatia today.
  Povlja on the island today counted 310 residents. Most are still dealing with old trades such as fishing, olive growing and viticulture for which nature has retained its original shape. Clean air, beautiful sea and untouched environment make Povlja ideal place for vacation.
