Trilj is imprinted into the beautiful environment of the fertile field and the curved river, and is in the vicinity of the magnificent canyon that follows the river Cetina on its way to its mouth.On the borders of great civilizations, Trilj was once the only and most important passage over the powerful and swollen river and today is a location that bends over this same river whose power, importance and beauty never fades.There is much evidence of the Trilj's turbulent life and history, from the time of the Roman military camps to the old Croatian forts of Čačvina and Nutjak, the rashly extravagant life, the particularity and love for the homeland is conveyed by the countless and always present elements of tradition such as ethnography, traditional architecture, gastronomy and a pronounced hospitality.
