Lovran

Lovran - A pitoresquely seaside town, with a long and rich past, has settled underneath the steep slopes of mt Učka at the Bay of Kvarner. An exeptional geographic position beetween sea and the mountains is giving Lovran this specific mild climate with so many sunny days, gentle winters and pleasant summers. Lovran is named after laurel (Laurus nobilis) which here grows in abundance, just as many other mediteranian vegetations. Lovran is one of the few touristic destinations, who have not lost their authenthicy and identity. All touristic contents are adjusted to it ,so in spite of many hotels and capacities, Lovran remains in visitors memory as a town with abundant historical heritage and beautiful nature. But Lovran is not static at all! A longstanding orientation to tourism resulted with rich cultural and entertainment life during all seasons,which guarantee a dinamic and active holiday.
