Arriving by car
If you come to Istria from the western direction, from Slovenia, you will cross one of three border crossings; Plovanija - Secovlje, Kastel-Dragonja or Požane - Socerga. For your pleasant journey through Istria is available to you Istrian highway "Y" to central Istria peninsula, and the southernmost parts of the house is only 100 km.
Entering "Y" from the east Croatian highway Rijeka - Zagreb or from Split, pass through the tunnel Učka and soon you will reach your final destination - Rabac.
Arrival by plane
If we arrive on a regular flight lines or charter - flight, you land at the airport Pula, Istria largest international airport. Pula Airport is only 45 km from Rabac, to which you will always easily accessible by taxi, bus or organized transport. Also, near the international airport Vrsar for small aircraft.
Arriving by boat

Rabac-pearl of Kvarner
Well-known tourist resort of Rabac mid-19th Century is a small fishing village with hardly ten houses. Due to the beautiful bay and splendid, tame surroundings, it soon attracted first visitors. One of the first visitors was a passionate English writer and Richard Francis Burton, who stayed in Rabac still 1876th year.
The first hotel in Rabac "Quarnero" opened on 11th June 1889th year. A regular client of that first hotel was an Austrian officer Kaiser, who later bought Dubrova Estate close to Labin place now known as a Mediterranean Sculptors Symposium and Sculpture Park. Historians will record that the beginning of this century - a 1907th year, Rabac and the Austro-Hungarian throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, who is saluted in the harbor. The inhabitants of Rabac were skilled fishermen, seamen and owners of some ten sailboats which were eventually pushed back by motor boats and disappeared in the maelstrom second World War II.

A dozen years later, it is the hotel "Dopolavoro" which is now a restaurant "Jadran". Tourism in Istria, as well as in Rabac, began to develop during the sixties, when this small resort, due to its natural beauty, got the flattering name of "Pearl of the Adriatic". Since then, all existing hotels, apartments, camping sites and the majority of homes.
Among the visitors, for years the most Germans and Austrians followed by English and Italians. In Rabac one day in the middle of summer, housed up to 11 000 visitors, mainly foreign, and several bathers from Labin and its surroundings.
