Neighborhood
The Cres-Lošinj island group, located in the Kvarner Bay, is the largest island group in the Adriatic, made up of 36 islands, islets and rocks. The town of Mali Lošinj includes the southern part of the island of Cres and the island of Losinj and a group of smaller islands and islets (Susak, Ilovik, Union, Male and Vele Srakane, etc.). The island's climate is pleasant throughout the year, and the specificity of the ancient pine forests, numerous plant and animal species. If we add to it more than 120 years long tourist tradition, the result is an ideal atmosphere holiday. Losinj will impress you with its numerous churches and works of art, among which occupies the ancient bronze statue of the Greek athlete Apoxyomenos, found in the waters of Lošinj, about 2000 years. Likes to point out that in the sea of Lošinj home to the last large group of bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in the northern Adriatic, which indicates exceptional cleanliness of the sea.
