Island Vir

The island of Vir is one of 300 islands and islets of the Zadar archipelago, one of 1186 islands and islets in the Croatian Adriatic. Passed in the Sea of Vir in the north part of Dalmatia. Twentieth in size among angleški islands, and eighth in the Zadar archipelago. Continues to Privlački peninsula from which it asunder 3m deep and 300m wide Privlački Draft. Island Ugljan

Ugljan is the closest island of the Zadar archipelago, opposite the town of Zadar, from which is divided by only couple of miles wide channel of Zadar and it is connected with many ferryboat lines. It is also called the green island, covered with dense bush, pine trees, olive-groves, fig-groves, vineyards and other Mediterranean vegetation. It has a surface of 51,85 km2, while the shore line is 74 km long. Island Rava

Island Rava - is a smaller island between Dugi otok and the island Ugljan. If you drive Dugi otok road, from Sali to Brbinj, it is certain that you'll stop by the lookout from which stretches a nice view to the island Rava. Although it is near, you need to take ferry to Zadar, or leave the car in Luka on Dugi otok and transfer by boat to Rava. Island of Pag

The island of Pag is one of the biggest islands in Croatia. It stretches for 60 km. The total surface area of the island of Pag is 285 km², and the length of the coastline is 270 km, more than four times the island length, which makes Pag one of the most indented islands in Croatia. The island of Pag is located at the southernmost part of north Adriatic. Molat

Molat is an island situated in the northern part of Zadar's archipelago. Although it has just about 22 square kilometers, it has three settlements there: Molat, Brgulje and Zapuntel connected with a local road. The largest distance between them is seven kilometers. It is connected to the mainland, the nearest town Zadar with daily ferryboat line. Ljubač

Ljubač is a coy small settlement in the region of Zadar. Yet, heading towards the island Pag, the bay of Ljubač is the first sea sight and it takes a breath away. The bay is surrounded by groves and vegetation, olive orchards and vineyards. Ljubač has about 200 houses, stiffed in the old center, built in typical Mediterranean style. Karin

Karin is a place in Northern Dalmatia stretching from the Karin Sea and the foot of the Bukovica hill to its very peak (Orljak, 537 m), between the Karisnica River and a stream which marks a border between the settlements of Kruševo and Karin. Long Island

Dugi otok has the same meaning as Long Island in English. Well, it is not the one in the state New York, but one of the islands in Zadar’s archipelago in Croatia.
