City of Slunj is situated on the state highway Zagreb-Karlovac-Slunj-Plitvice lakes-Zadar-Split.You will get to Rastoke and Slunj if you go from Karlovac to Plitvice lakes, but you must be careful because if you take Zagreb-Split highway you will miss destination which undoubtedly must visit.
